Solar panels + battery storage
Solar-powered ice vending machines
Power your ice vending project with solar panels and battery storage. We prepare a project-specific implementation proposal and budget around the selected machine, available installation space and your energy requirements.
Can an ice vending machine run on solar power?
Yes. A solar panel system combined with battery storage can provide a power solution for our ice vending equipment. The system is designed around the chosen machine and site conditions; it is not one standard solar kit for every installation.
Sufficient space is needed for the solar panels and supporting equipment. Before proposing a configuration, we review your location, required operating schedule, daily ice demand and whether mains electricity or another backup supply is available.
What we need to prepare your solar proposal
| Installation location | Country, city and whether the equipment will be indoors, outdoors or sheltered |
|---|---|
| Machine and ice demand | Bagged ice or ice cups, target daily production and expected sales |
| Operating schedule | Daytime-only operation, evening sales or intended round-the-clock service |
| Available space | Roof or ground area for panels, photographs and any shading constraints |
| Electricity supply | Whether grid or backup power is available and the site electrical requirements |
| Battery requirement | How long you need stored power when solar generation is limited |
| Budget and delivery | Project budget range, delivery address and planned order quantity |
Solar panels, storage and machine operation
Solar generation
The panel layout must suit the usable space and local sunlight conditions. Shading and the installation location affect the proposed design.
Battery storage
Storage is planned around the operating hours and backup time you require. The battery specification and expected autonomy are confirmed as part of the project proposal.
Electrical compatibility
Our technical review matches the supporting power equipment to the machine, including the electrical supply and compressor startup requirements. Final ratings must be confirmed before equipment is selected or installed.
Choose the ice format first
The bagged ice vending machine offers a rated 450 kg/day output at the published 20°C condition and fills 5 kg bags. The ice cup vending machine offers a rated 65 kg/day output with 160 g or 200 g portions. Actual production varies with operating conditions.
Choosing the right format and realistic daily demand helps define your solar project. Tell us whether you are serving customers who buy bags for coolers and events or smaller ice portions for drinks.
How much does a solar-powered setup cost?
The solar power system is quoted separately from the machine. Our base machine prices are USD 7,000 FOB for bagged ice and USD 6,000 FOB for ice cups. Solar panels, batteries, supporting electrical equipment, delivery and local installation are additional budget items.
We will prepare a configuration and cost proposal based on the energy requirements you provide. Start with the machine pricing guide, then send your location, available panel area and intended operating hours.
Plan installation and operation
